Advent Calendar

The ladies at our church gathered together to make Advent Calendars together and I love them! I met with one sweet family in our church to take a picture of their daughter as she happily placed all the pieces on the felt and explained what each one was.

The Advent Calendar came from Noel Piper, wife of John Piper. She has written a book called Treasuring God in Our Traditions (though I have not read the book – it comes highly recommended!). Through the Piper’s ministry partnership with Desiring God, you can purchase the book and even the pattern for this Advent Calendar.

What makes this Calendar terrific is that it is accompanied by a script that your toddlers can answer along the way.
